Teenage pregnancy is prengnancy in a female under the age of 20. A pregnancy can take place at any time after puberty, which technically begins about two weeks before menarche (first menstrual period).

It has adverse effects, specially on women under 14 because of their low pelvic development. After this age, most of the problems are socioeconomical, including the lack of money to maintain a baby or having to drop out of school to take care of the child.

Teenage pregnancy is often affected by bad eating habits, stress and medical conditions that can worsen the situation.

• Teenage pregnancies are associated with increased rates of alcohol abuse and substance abuse, lower educational level, and reduced earning potential in teen fathers.
• In the United States, the annual cost of teen pregnancies from lost tax revenues, public assistance, child health care, foster care and involvement with the criminal justice system is estimated to be about $7 billion.

Domestic violence is any abuse of power by a family member over another. Such abuse includes physical, psychological or otherwise. It is considered that there is domestic violence in a home, if there is a repetitive violent attitude, not a single isolated event. 

The victim of domestic violence is any person deemed the aggressor or spouse who has lived with him somehow.  

Context

It is a controversial topic common in the Dominican Republic and in all the extracts social, it doesn’t matter if you are poor or rich, anyone can be a victim of that.

Also It is a problem of large dimensions that affects important sectors of the population especially women, girls, children, elderly men and women. An endemic form of domestic violence is the abuse of women by their partners.

Function

Our campaign is trying to make people aware that this violence is getting worst day by day therefore we all together have to act against any type of violence. And if people see any kind of abuse to report it.

Iniciative

As in recent years there has been an increase in domestic violence and more often we see cases in the newspaper of families affected by this evil, we decided that it would be good to work with this theme. by creating awareness in Dominican families, and the ones who are affected to find help. Another factor that made us choose this topic was the increase of the femicides in the last

Benefits of campaign

We are creating a campaign against the domestic violence, trying to make people aware of domestic violence and what is happening in the homes of our country that is not good.

In my opinion i dont think that the abortion its a bad desition, it depends of what kind of situation you are going thrue in your life, for example if you can race a baby, you are pour or to young you can think of it, but if your feith means a lot to you you can give the baby in adoption. Another case is if your health is in risc i agree with it.



Megan:
My opinion about the abortion is that have to be ilegl but with certain restrictions beacuse we have to think about three importants thing like
Violation: a crime does not justify another crime is a diffucult situation but kid insade the mother dosent have the fail
when the kid have mental problem or can born in a vegetable condition the abortion it is cost
Sometime the the religious persons dosent understand that, but we have to respect to desicions of each women.

In my opinion the abortion in not a good or a bad thing is only a choice but is a responsability too.
For my can do an abortion in some cases like: in the event of a violation or if the fetus has a problem on the chromosome which could lead to a physical or mental problem. In these cases the baby will not have a full life as it should be.
However I think that having a baby is a wonderful experience and you need to have great responsibility for this.
It is choice of each person if you want to have this experience and if you think that you have capacity for this.
